Joining RDA Viewbank

RDA’s Viewbank’s aim is to enable people with disabilities to experience enjoyment, achievement, and development of life skills through equestrian activities.

We run a varied weekly program including riding skills, a wide range of games, and trail rides through our property where we frequently see birds and kangaroos.  We also focus on specific rider goals including improved balance, focus, communication, socialisation, independence, and more!

Each rider is supported by a coach, a leader and side walkers as needed.

Group lesson fees:  $30 per lesson

Length of lessons:  up to 45 minutes.

Weight restrictions:  Max 80 kg

Waiting list:  Weekdays 2+ years, Saturdays 4+ years.

Volunteering:

Volunteering is an excellent way to get involved in your community, meet like-minded individuals, and make a difference!  We would not be able to run our program without our amazing team of volunteers.  We have a wide variety of volunteer roles available, including horse handling, lesson assistance, paddock maintenance, and administrative tasks.  Experience is not required – we are happy to help you learn new skills.
